Are you a fan of Kpop? Do you want to learn how to mash-up Kpop songs? I've got your back! For this project, I mashed-up BTS's Butter and Not Today with Garageband, using easy drum patterns and easily learnt keyboard notes! This does not require any music background, so everyone can try!

Nothing to do? Try making an instrumental version of a song! I’ve picked the hit song “I want something just like this”, an earworm which stays in your head for days on end. Hopefully, you’ll listen to my recreation of the song, made through spending an embarrassing amount of time on GarageBand.

This project is about making a backing track for the song I chose, ‘Chandelier’, using GarageBand. The song genre is electropop ballad. I included the electric guitar, keyboard and drums and arranged the drum pattern, bass line, harmonies and added some sound effects. I enjoyed the process and end result.

What’s it like to be the daughter of a Nazi commandant during the Nazi occupation? In our Term 3 Literature AA, we took it upon ourselves to delve deeper into the character of Gretel from The Boy in Striped Pajamas, sister to Bruno – albeit unwillingly – and a notable persona indeed.

At our booth, discover the traits of an adolescent girl growing up during the Holocaust and the adversities she faced as a result. Heard of tapioca vada before? I love history ❤️💋 and to nomnom😆 For this very project, I had to show the connection between a dish during the WWII and how it has evolved through time 🕰️. Tapioca was an essential ingredient and staple as it was easy to grow and be found in the 1940s! It is cheap and very easy to whip up into a dish. Join me in learning about how tapioca vada has evolved through the times!! 😝😝

They say food ties even the most diverse groups of people together. Discover the uncharted territories of Singapore’s gastronomy as we learn how colonial ancestral influence played an integral part of shaping our local food culture. This integrated History-FCE project, lay bare an exotic local adaptation from the beloved British dessert of Blancmange Pudding to our native Gula Meleka Blancmange Pudding made during the Japanese Occupation.

A group of very talented students, Chloe Lim, Geraldine and Claire from 2Grace have come up with the “All in One” app, which gathers all school information into one place, making it easier for students to communicate with teachers!

Piezo Paces

The piezo sensor generates electricity when pressure is applied. They resemble tiles and will be placed at school gates where many people pass by and step on. The electricity generated will be stored and power up the canteen clocks. This helps to save electricity as the energy generated can keep the clocks running for the day.
